Residents of Digare community in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State have raised the alarm following a violent attack by heavily armed bandits on Friday night, prompting urgent calls for immediate security intervention.
According to locals, the attackers stormed Digare and neighboring settlements, unleashing terror on the community. The situation escalated rapidly, with residents describing scenes of panic and fear as the gunmen reportedly moved through the area.
The security monitoring platform Bakatsine confirmed the attack in a late Friday alert, warning that the crisis was worsening and required urgent response from security operatives. The alert specifically urged for immediate deployment of security forces to Digare and surrounding communities.
