A powerful message on diligence and prosperity was delivered by Pastor Isah Lazarus Alkali of Living Faith Church, Azugwu, Ebonyi State, as he urged believers to remain committed and hardworking in their daily pursuits.
Speaking during a church service, the cleric anchored his teaching on Proverbs 4:23 and Psalms 1:2–3, emphasizing that diligence is a key requirement for anyone seeking true prosperity. According to him, success does not come by mere wishful thinking but through consistent effort and dedication.
Pastor Alkali reminded the congregation that the God they serve is not “Father Christmas,” stressing that divine blessings are often tied to human responsibility. He encouraged members to engage in meaningful activities, noting that “you must do something to get something.”
Referencing Isaiah 38:1–2, he further highlighted the importance of intentional living and spiritual consciousness, urging believers to take charge of their lives through both faith and action.
The pastor also addressed misconceptions about poverty, stating clearly that it is not a sign of righteousness. He reassured the church that God desires prosperity for His people and concluded his message with prayers for open doors and breakthroughs for all members.
