A Christian cleric has called on believers to actively engage the “turnaround power” of faith by demonstrating it through meaningful work rather than mere words.
Speaking during a church ministration, the preacher emphasized that faith is best proven through action, citing the biblical teaching that faith without works is dead. He urged members of the congregation not to deceive themselves by claiming faith without putting in practical effort.
According to him, true faith always produces righteous results, stressing that believers must find something productive to do regardless of their situation. He advised students in particular to remain diligent, noting that success in any institution comes only through consistent hard work.
The cleric also reminded worshippers that God has already given humanity the ability and strength to work, adding that there is a time for both rest and labor in life. He explained that faith stands firmly on truth, even when circumstances seem to contradict God’s promises.
Using the example of Abraham, he highlighted how unwavering faith combined with persistence eventually led to the fulfillment of God’s promise of fruitfulness, despite years of delay and public mockery. He warned that while other sources may appear to provide temporary solutions, only God gives lasting blessings.
He further encouraged believers not to be discouraged by negative opinions, stressing that fruitfulness is part of God’s divine agenda for humanity.
The sermon concluded with prayers of blessing upon the church, reaffirming the belief that God alone is Almighty and incomparable.
