The redeployment also includes new appointments to key field commands, training institutions, intelligence units, and the Nigerian Army Space Command as part of efforts to enhance operational readiness and improve coordination across the force.
Lieutenant General Shaibu urged the newly appointed officers to justify the confidence placed in them by demonstrating professionalism, innovation, discipline, and commitment to duty.
The Nigerian Army said the reshuffle forms part of its ongoing transformation agenda aimed at building a more professional, combat-ready, and people-oriented force capable of effectively addressing Nigeria’s evolving security challenges.
