The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has taken an early lead in chairmanship results emerging from four polling units at LEA Primary School, Kubwa II, in Bwari Area Council, during the ongoing Federal Capital Territory council elections.
Official figures released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) show ADC polling 67 votes, maintaining a clear advantage over the All Progressives Congress (APC), which secured 40 votes across the four units counted so far.
Other parties trailed behind, with the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) recording 21 votes, while the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) secured 20 votes.

Despite over 4,000 registered voters at the centre, only 181 voters were accredited and cast ballots — a turnout observers described as one of the lowest in recent FCT elections.
Stakeholders had earlier intensified mobilisation efforts, but participation remained weak throughout the voting period.
SUNTV gathered reports of alleged vote-buying activities at a nearby polling unit in Byazhin, Kubwa, where some individuals were reportedly offering voters ₦2,000 to influence their choices.
At the same time, voting was briefly disrupted when the BVAS accreditation device ran out of battery power, forcing voters to provide power banks to keep the process running.
A voter at the centre also alleged that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, had urged trader unions to support the ruling APC — a claim that could not be independently verified at the time of filing this report.
