In a development that has stirred nationwide reactions, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has strongly condemned the arrest and alleged intimidation of businesswoman Tracy Nicholas Ohiri, calling for calm, dialogue, and strict respect for the rule of law.

Akpoti-Uduaghan urged both parties to embrace peaceful engagement, appealing directly to the minister to resolve the dispute through constructive dialogue.
She further revealed plans to personally intervene by meeting with both sides upon her return to Abuja in a bid to facilitate a fair and peaceful resolution.
“Justice, dignity, and the rule of law must guide all actions,” she affirmed.
The controversy intensified after officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service released Ohiri to receive medical care following hours of tension at Wuse General Hospital.
Reports indicate that Ohiri’s arrest allegedly stemmed from a dispute involving payment claims for supplied gift items linked to the minister.
