In a renewed push for unity and lasting peace, prominent leaders from Northern Nigeria have embarked on a high-level reconciliation mission aimed at strengthening relations between Muslims and Christians across the region.
The delegation, which included former spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Dr Hakeem Baba Ahmed, and former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Professor Yusuf Usman, paid a joint visit to the headquarters of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern states and the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI).
