Millions of Globacom subscribers were thrown offline on Tuesday following a widespread data outage that disrupted internet access across several states in Nigeria.
The interruption, which reportedly started around 8:30 a.m., left users unable to browse, stream, or complete online transactions, sparking frustration on social media and in affected communities.
In a message to customers, Glo confirmed the disruption and apologised for the inconvenience, assuring subscribers that its engineers are working urgently to resolve the issue.
“We understand how important reliable access is to you and sincerely apologise for the disruption,” the company said. “Our technical team is working to resolve the issue and ensure services are restored as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Glo. We truly appreciate you.”
As efforts continue, subscribers are eagerly awaiting full restoration of services.
